Fancy’s Folly, the upscale boutique, is re-opening again in the Sewickley Village on Thursday, September 6th at 427 Broad Street. The store’s re-opening will feature a special trunk show of the Lex&Lynne jewelry collection (www.lexandlynne.com) as well as fabulous new “finds” for fall and the addition of several new lines not currently available anywhere in Pittsburgh! Boatman Geller, ByPaige, Lilly Pulitzer, Skirtin’ Around, Tizzie, Jude Connally, and Gretchen Scott Designs are all in keeping with the classic, timeless style that marks the Fancy’s Folly collection.
Fancy’s Folly is also excited to announce that it will continue its tradition of charitable giving on behalf of customers through “Shop for a Cause”, donating 10% of all gross sales over $100 to The Child Health Association of Sewickley, from September 22nd through October 6th. Founded in 1923, The Child Health Association of Sewickley has been engaged for almost 90 years in charitable giving and volunteer service aimed at improving the quality of life for children in western Pennsylvania. In addition to donating a portion of all sales over $100 to this worthy local organization, Fancy’s Folly will also provide information to the community on the Association’s upcoming events and ways to become involved.
“We are celebrating 11 exciting years in business, and have always participated actively in benefit shows throughout the country in support of many charitable organizations,” said Nancy Follett, owner of Fancy’s Folly. “Fancy’s Folly was built upon this philanthropic practice and I am thrilled to continue this tradition each season in our Sewickley store, which will re-open on Thursday, September 6th.”
Fancy’s Folly, founded in 2001, offers distinctively classic gifts, accessories and clothing for women, men and the home including many choices of monogrammed gifts. Beaded clutches, a wide assortment of pillows, tabletop including glassware, vases, totes, frames, cashmere, candles, purses, scarves and needlepoint shoes are just a few of the many wonderful items the store will be featuring this Fall.
