It all started with sisters and shopping. Four women on a spree in Texas laughing over their loot and two of them wishing they had access to such goodies back home in Pittsburgh. Never ones to let a good idea go to waste, sisters Cora DeLoia and Carina Perrone started up a business consisting of trunk shows and home parties named affectionately for their mother, the original Spoiled Chic. The idea was to recreate the fun of that shopping spree in Texas for everybody, all of the time. The home parties were about girlfriends getting together and having a great time finding great things. A Style Section story in the Post Gazette launched their career. The ladies were so booked as a result that they had to have a permanent location. Spoiled Chics the Boutique was born. Opting for a great space on Beaver Street in 2004, the Chics have brought that same sense of great times, girlfriends and great shopping right into Downtown Sewickley. There are still trunk shows and other events as Spoiled Chics is always the first to lend a helping hand to the community. Voted “Best New Business” after opening the ladies are still receiving awards. In 2010 the stylish sister received a readers choice Bronze Award for “Best Ladies Boutique”. Spoiled Chics is a fantastic find for handbags, jewelry, hats, scarves, select functional separates and more. There is a range of price points-all reasonable. Pick up something for yourself or find that special gift from brands like Sydney Love, Vieta, Comfy USA, Menche et Munchette and jewelry made in Paris by Karine Sultan to name a few. What ever you do, don’t forget to bring your girlfriends along.
